TECHNICAL DIVING

Technical Diving With Us

This right here, is exactly what we excel in, with our location and full range of technical support facilities alongside a highly experienced staff you should look no further for your technical dive trip to Cyprus.

Our main dive site is the Zenobia which we visit twice a day – returning to the dive centre in between dives as we are just a 5-minute boat ride and the nearest dive centre to the wreck. We specialise in taking small groups (no more than 4 customers with each guide) in and around the wreck, on unique routes allowing you to see as much of the wreck as possible during your visit. Certain technical routes are reduced to a maximum of 2 divers per guide due to complexity. We offer a completely immersive tour package to truly experience the scale and limitless penetration opportunities this wreck presents including the various cargo decks, accommodation quarters, chain locker, Engine room and many others. If you complete the 5 day package tour during your stay we’ll give you a free ‘Mission Wreck’  tour t-shirt to take away with you, these cannot be purchased, only earnt!

Based on our dive planning, minimum certification requirements to participate in technical dives on the Zenobia with us is TDI Decompression Procedures/TEC 45 or above and all technical divers are required to be on either a twinset or sidemount configuration with a decompression stage. We use a 28% standard mix for back gas as the bottom of the wreck sits at 40 metres and a 50% mix as the decompression gas. Due to the profile of the wreck this combination provides the best dive range. Stages with Oxygen are also available on request at an extra cost.

Our centre also contains a full operation in support of CCR divers from all units with a full range of 2 + 3ltr cylinders with both M25 and M26 connections, bailout, sofnolime on site along with a charging station and fully alarmed wet area to store your units over night.

Trips out to the Elpida / Cricket can also be arranged, these wrecks are sat at 27 metres and 36 metres respectively and require a minimum of 6 divers due to distance to organise a trip. Night dives are also available on request out to the Zenobia, these are conducted in recreational non decompression profiles only with a maximum dive time of 60 minutes and maximum depth of 30 metres, with a minimum of 4 divers and advanced booking required for this to be organised. Full details of our supplement prices are also listed below.

We also have a complete range of technical equipment available to rent in store for both twinset and sidemount configurations including torches and technical gas switch computers. For those certified, there is also Trimix available on site but must be requested in advance.
