Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Scuba Discovery is for you.

The Experience!

You will start by joining us at the centre for a skill and safety briefing with your instructor for the day. We will then take you up to Green Bay, a shallow site up in the Napa region, via a bakery for some diving fuel!

Your instructor will then assist you into your equipment and the water and take you through some vital safety skills in shallow water to get you comfortable. Once you have cracked the basics we will take you on an underwater tour around the clear waters of the bay past the ancient underwater statues and through the seagrass meadows. Whilst taking in the underwater scenery you may be lucky enough to see creatures such as turtles, octopus and a large variety of fish. We will then take you to a different site to complete a second fun dive and bring you back to the centre upon completion.

After showing you this amazing new world you will have the option of completing a second dive before heading back to the center, stopping off for refreshments on route. We will then complete your discover scuba booklet for you to take home with you!

Pre-requisites

• • 10 years and above
  • Be comfortable in water and have basic swimming abilities
