TDI Oxygen (O2) Equipment Service Technician

The TDI O2 Equipment Service Technician Course allows candidates the ability to engage in the preparation of scuba equipment for the use and exposure of oxygen and other mixed gasses used in technical diving.

How do I begin?

You start with the training materials. We will provide you with and TDI Advanced Gas Blender manual so you can do all your studying at home before you come to Cyprus.

The TDI O2 Equipment Service Technician Course takes an in-depth look at all of the following and more:

  • The responsibility of the service technician
  • Oxygen handling
  • Equipment servicing
  • Gas production equipment
  • Mixing techniques
  • Oxygen analysis
  • Cylinder handling and logs

How long does it take?

The TDI O2 Equipment Service Technician course takes 1 -1.5 days.

What qualifications do I need?

As well as being over 18, in order to enrol on this course you must meet the following criteria:

    • Certification as a TDI Nitrox Gas Blender or equivalent
    • VIP certification through a recognized training agency
    • Certification through a recognized manufacturing company regulator clinic**
    • Employment through a recognized scuba related facility, manufacturer/distributor or proof of intent to acquire such employment

**Not required if training as TDI Cylinder O2 Service Technician only
